ST CLÉMENT MARKET DAY – 16 APRIL

The next market day will be held on Saturday 16th April from 930am until 130pm.

The aim is to encourage those with a St Clément connection to book a table and display, promote and sell their wares to the public.

The cost of each table will be £10 and this will all go to a different Charity selected each month by the Connétable, and the Charity will be invited to have a table of their own if they wish to attend. The April Charity chosen is ‘Mind Jersey’.

It is hoped to have a variety of items for sale each month such as bread, plants and seeds, fresh vegetables, flowers, arts and crafts, wooden products, toys, clothes, books and a recycling table etc. The emphasis will be on having a variety of stalls each month rather than multiple stalls with the same products so as to attract the public with a slightly different selection to maintain interest.

Any one intending on selling home produced foods should first contact the Environmental Health Department on:

https://www.gov.je/Industry/RetailHospitality/FoodDrink/Pages/FoodMatters.aspx

In the event of fine weather, it will be possible for some tables to be available for use outside.

Initially, the intention is to keep the number of available tables to 16 and prospective stallholders will be asked to apply for a table each month by completing an application form which will be available at the Parish Hall from the beginning of each month or by email to [email protected].

Dates for the remainder of 2022 will be:

21 May; 18 June; 16 July; 20 August; 17 September; 15 October and 19 November.
