St Clement Market Day

The Connétable and Procureurs are pleased to announce that from 19 March 2022 and then on the third Saturday of each month until November a Parish Market will be held at the Parish Hall from 10am until 3pm.

The aim is to encourage those with a St Clément connection to book a table and display, promote and sell their wares to the public.

The cost of each table will be £10 and this will all go to a different Charity selected each month by the Connétable, and the Charity will be invited to have a table of their own if they wish to attend.

It is hoped to have a variety of items for sale each month such as home baking, jams and jellies, plants and seeds, fresh vegetables, arts and crafts, wooden products, a recycling table etc. The emphasis will be on having a variety of stalls each month rather than multiple stalls with the same products so as to attract the public each month with a slightly different selection to maintain interest.

In the event of fine weather, it will be possible for some tables to be available for use outside.

Initially, the intention is to keep the number of available tables to 20 and prospective stallholders will be asked to apply for a table each month by completing an application form which will be available at the Parish Hall from the beginning of each month.

The first St Clement Market Day will be held on Saturday 19 March and the dates for the remainder of 2022 will be:

16 April; 21 May; 18 June; 16 July; 20 August; 17 September; 15 October and 19 November.

Application forms will be available for the March Market on Tuesday 1 March at the Parish Hall.
