Election for Procureur du Bien Public
In accordance with Article 22 of the Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, electors are hereby notified that an election will be held on WEDNESDAY 11 SEPTEMBER 2024 to elect one person to fill the office of Procureur du Bien Public in the Parish of St Clement.
How to cast your vote
You must have photographic identification on your person as this may be requested before you are allowed to vote.
Voting on polling day
If you are registered to vote in this election, the Polling station at the PARISH HALL will be open on Wednesday 11 September 2024 from 8am to 8pm. There are no pre-poll or postal voting facilities in a Procureur du Bien Public Election.
If you wish to have your vote recorded but are confined to your home, please notify the Autorisé or Adjoint at your Polling Station by 12 noon, if possible, but no later than 5pm, on Wednesday 11 September 2024. Circumstances where this will be acceptable are:
• illness
• disability
• being the carer of a person who is ill or disabled
Only those electors who had registered by 12 noon on Wednesday 7 August 2024 may vote in this election.
Electors may vote for ONE person to fill the office of Procureur du Bien Public, and the two candidates are:
