Bailiff’s Ukraine Appeal
The Bailiff of Jersey’s Chambers in coordination with the Government of Jersey and Jersey Overseas Aid, has today launched an appeal to coordinate all charitable donations in support of Jersey’s response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The Bailiff’s Ukraine Appeal will accept donations from people in Jersey, enabling the Island to stand in solidarity with the civilian victims of Russian aggression. It will focus on supporting the Ukrainian people and will provide an opportunity for people and organisations who want and are able to contribute financially to support the people caught up in the conflict. The Island’s official aid agency, Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA), will ensure that the funds are directed to the agencies and locations where they will have the most impact.
